Let me start with, August was a busy month and then Luke started school and I am err I mean he is still adjusting to the school routine. Anyway way back on August 4th our first born turned 6!! Jake and I can not believe how fast these 6 years have gone and this year was especially nostalgic since we knew that in a month he would be starting school. We could not wait to celebrate our Luke and Luke was more than happy to be celebrated. On his actual birthday he of course got to go to the donut shop with Dad and pick out some donuts. Then he was allowed to open a present from his sister because she was too excited to give it to him to wait.
After lunch we headed to the OC Fair. Thanks to a very generous Uncle, Luke and Harper both got to get wrist bands which allowed them to ride all the rides they wanted! They had a blast and were so cute and kind to one another all day. The rides rarely had a line and the kids rode rides for about 3 hours that day! Luke also got to get a funnel cake, which he loved. After the fair we headed back home for cake, ice cream and presents. Luke kept saying all day long that this was the best Birthday ever! We all had a fun and tiring day celebrating our Lukey!!
Luke open his present from Harper...pretty sure Harper is more excited.
Our big 6 year old!
Harper waving as she spotted Luke on a ride.
They LOVED going through the fun houses!
Happy girl.
They laughed the entire ride!
Sam was napping on the go.
Roller coaster.
All day long Luke helped Harper in and out of rides.
Last ride of the night.
He was so excited about his Leapster.
Enjoying his presents.
Blowing out candles.
And a Birthday treat for Mommy...he fell asleep as I was telling him the story of the day he was born.
